2015 a knitting year in review

3rd part collage

2015 it wasn’t too bad a year for me, nothing terrible happened and I managed not to damage myself (I can be quite a klutz) and it was a pretty good year for my knitting too. Back in January last year I set myself the target of 16 new patterns, I’ve just checked and I actually have had 26 new releases this past year, which is way more than I ever thought I would be able to produce in one year. 2015 also saw my first patterns published in magazines and with a yarn company, these 6 patterns (in the picture above) I hope to be the first of many.

So overall I’ve had a fun knitting year, I’ve made some new knitty friends and I hope my patterns are starting to reach a wider audience, if someone had told me 5 years ago that this is what I’d be doing I wouldn’t have believed them, but I’m loving it and don’t intend to stop any time soon!
